That matters because it makes SafeContractor recognised by other SSIP schemes through Deem to Satisfy, so a valid SafeContractor certificate can satisfy a buyer who asks for SSIP, CHAS or another member scheme, without a second full health and safety assessment.
What being an SSIP member means
